1. ACNE

Acne, also known as common acne or acne vulgaris. It is a chronic inflammatory skin disease characterized by the formation of comedones, papules, pustules, nodules, and scars, which appear mainly on the face and upper part of the trunk.

Acne has had a variable classification by different authors or groups of specialists. Grading into four types by type, severity, and number of injuries is common:

Mild or grade 1 acne: The main lesions are comedones, and there are less than five inflammatory ones on one-half of the face. Papules and pustules may appear, but small and few, generally less than 10.

Moderate or grade 2 acne: Between 6 and 20 inflammatory lesions on one half of the face. There is a more significant number (between 10 and 40) of papules, pustules, and comedones. The trunk may also be affected.
